Aquaculture technology
UMITRON
UMITRON makes technology for sustainable fish and shrimp farming, from connected feeders to satellite ocean data and AI feeding tools. The work brought seven products onto one design foundation, made for people who work on boats, in bright sun, with wet hands.

The brief
Each product does a different job, from buying supplies and controlling feeders to monitoring the ocean, measuring fish underwater, and running a farm. Together they needed to feel like one family, and each had to work in the conditions farmers face every day.
Approach
-
Designed for the boat
A visit to an oyster farm shaped the work. Glare off the water and wet hands call for larger touch targets, higher contrast, and simpler navigation, starting with CELL, the app that controls the feeders.
-
One foundation, room for each product
A shared layer of color, type, spacing, and borders keeps every product recognizably UMITRON. Above it, each product has its own components, so a marketplace and an underwater measuring tool can each solve their own problems.
-
Clear recommendations from AI
REMORA turns existing farm cameras into feeding advice, so its dashboard leads with clear recommendations. PULSE shows ocean conditions as charts, maps, and real-time alerts.
-
Built around the working day
Workshops with farmers shaped FARM around daily tasks and a simpler way to compile reports. MAUVE, an online store for farm supplies, was designed from concept to launch.
